1 - Path of Exile: The Awakening
Path of Exile developers Grinding Gear Games are describing their game's free 'The Awakening' expansion as "Path of Exile 2.0.0", an important milestone when it comes to the business of updating games. True to that, the patch notes that accompanied The Awakening's awakening yesterday are absolutely mahoossive—if I posted the entire thing here the site would probably crumple under the sheer weight of balancing adjustments and skill tree changes.
Essentially, PoE's big expansion adds a fourth act—set in the mining town of Highgate—to the generously free-to-play action RPG, along with a new jewel system, divination cards, loads extra gems and other sundry items, and balancing changes out the wazoo. "You wanna be a space ninja?"That was the cry Digital Extremes PR settled on at PAX when tempting booth loiterers to play Warframe , a PvE third person shooter involving space ninjas. Turns out, because booth loiterers are only human, the answer was a resounding yes.The game is currently in open beta and has been since March. You might have seen it hovering around the periphery of the Steam most-played top ten and, occasionally, venturing in. With its ninth update the developers announced 3 million registered accounts and you might see anything from 10,000 to 30,000 concurrent players on its servers.

Nosgoth is a free-to-play multiplayer action game, developed by Psyonix and published by Square Enix for Microsoft Windows through digital distribution. It is a spin-off of the Legacy of Kain series of action-adventure games, and takes place in their eponymous fictional universe. Nosgoth employs a player versus player system in which each match consists of two rounds. Neverwinter is a Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) for theMicrosoft Windows platform. 10 - Strife
Strife is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game developed by S2 Games. A tribute to the highly acclaimed film series in which the above quote originated from, No More Room in Hell (PC Gamer's Mod of the Year 2011, ModDB's Editor Choice Multiplayer Mod of the Year 2011), is a co-operative realistic first person survival horror modification for the Source Engine. 14 - Unturned
Unturned is a sandbox game in the emerging multiplayer apocalypse survival genre. Rather than focusing on being an MMO it provides players with easy systems to sit down and survive the zombie infestation with their friends. Over the course of a typical adventure, groups will have a blast fortifying locations, scavenging for supplies, trying to live off the land and negotiating with other people. The game is being developed entirely with the community in focus, and tons of features are based entirely on feedback:
Fortification:
Players can build massive forts out of structural building blocks, or build onto smaller buildings in the world with barricades. It is also possible to create traps and intricate electronic systems. More options for building are constantly being added based on what the community requests.
Survival:
It is entirely possible to live off the wilderness by harvesting resources, fishing, growing crops and hunting animals down. What sort of survival stuff is added is entirely decided by the community.

The initial release map is set on the lovely Prince Edward Island, but over the next few months many more locations will arrive for players to explore depending on what the community wants to see.
